Nyumba ya Madau

Nyumba Ya Madau is located in the most alluring bay of Watamu, on a long white sandy beach and protected by the coral reef.

 

The house is 7 km away from Watamu village and it is 15 km from Malindi. There you can shop, buy artisanal handicraft and enjoy a local restaurant. The staff can call for you a taxi or a pikipiki (motorbike).

 

Malindi airport is at 20 minutes and three airlines fly there daily from Nairobi (Kenya Airways, Fly540 and East African Safari Express). Mombasa International airport is at around 2,5/3 hours away, depending on traffic. Airport transfers can be arranged through a trusted taxi driver for 1,500 Kes from malindi and 6,000 Kes from Mombasa. A bus from Nairobi to Watamu would take around 10 hours.
